About VirtueUK

VirtueUK are a UK-based Managed Service Provider delivering service to clients in the greater London area. Unlike MSPs that focus on large or enterprise-level businesses, we focus on providing service to small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).  This allows SMBs who often find themselves a small fish in a big pond to leverage our operational maturity while remaining a priority.

OUR MISSION

OUR VISION

OUR CORE PRINCIPLES

At VirtueUK, our mission is to enhance the IT service capacity and capability of our SMB customers through affordable IT solutions and managed services so that they can better achieve their business objectives and compete with their larger competitors.

Our vision is to raise service delivery standards in the IT industry through an ethical business approach centred on building and maintaining customer trust.

We understand that in order to be relied upon as trustworthy, we must behave and operate with integrity, accountability, and transparency. That is why we integrate those core values at every level of our operations and customer engagements.

Founder's Message

I began working in IT sales in 2006. It didn’t take long for me to see why my profession was not regarded highly. IT sales was (and continues to be) notorious for unethical sales practices.

Over time, I found that operating dishonestly and against the interest of your customers for profit was expected. More surprising, however, was that it was accepted.

Customers expected the “typical” salesperson and with just cause. You were either very new to the industry or incredibly lucky if you hadn’t experienced some of the less than savory sales tactics or poor practices first-hand. Everyone, it seemed, had a story about a time when:

  • the benefits of a technology were exaggerated and the significant limitations conveniently omitted;
  • deal urgency was fabricated through arbitrary discount deadlines;
  • they had been subjected to hidden and/or outrageously inflated margins on engagements; or
  • significant operational delivery challenges had been created through poorly set expectations and inadequately defined scopes.

Despite my choice of profession, I actually value honesty!  I value it in both my personal and professional life and place great emphasis on building and maintaining relationships. Being in IT sales meant, of course, that I was constantly battling the expectations and distrust of new clients before being able to demonstrate my trustworthiness and reliability. I enjoyed being able to surprise my customers and set myself apart in this way. Unfortunately, I grew dejected over time.

After ten years, I had grown unbearably frustrated by the limited space for corporate and personal integrity in the industry. In 2016, I had reached my tipping point and knew something had to change.

My options were clear:

  • Compromise my fundamental values and ethics to advance and succeed, or
  • Create the space for integrity as a service provider by providing an alternative way of operating. Operating with Virtue.

Customer Testimonials

VirtueUK supports small to mid-sized organisations ranging from 50 to 300 users across various sectors including education, finance, and retail.

We pride ourselves on taking the time to learn about our customers’ businesses and IT operations in order to accurately understand their requirements. This allows us to provide informed recommendations, appropriate services, and deliver effective support.

The outcome of this added time and care is successful engagements and satisfied customers.

After all, a satisfied customer is a loyal customer – and that’s just good business!

The biggest difference I’ve noticed between Virtue and other partners is they put more effort in to doing things right and keeping me satisfied. It certainly makes things easier for me.

One of the reasons I consistently engage with Virtue is because I trust them to do what is best for me as opposed to what’s best for them.

Unlike some other providers, Virtue UK ensured that we were completely happy with our product before the purchase was settled. They continued to stay in touch afterwards and helped with answering questions, again, ensuring we were completely satisfied.
